Day 1 – Marmore Falls – Sant'Anatolia di Narco - Campi

The route starts from the foot of the imposing Marmore Waterfall, just outside the center of the city of Terni, and follows the course of the Nera river backwards towards the Umbria-Marche hinterland and the Sibillini Mountains. You follow the river passing small medieval villages and from Sant'Anatolia di Narco you continue following the route of the old Spoleto-Norcia railway between the coolness of the tunnels and the river. After passing the crag cut at the end of the Corno river, you enter the splendid Campiano valley, bright and welcoming, you continue after the perched village of Preci until you reach Campi di Norcia for a well-deserved rest.
